How Long Has It Been?
Germs accumulate in cars twice as quickly as they do in your home. Think of everywhere you've gone -- School. Work. The grocery store. How many times have you gotten into your car and grabbed the steering wheel without a second thought? We recommend having your interior detailed at least one to two times a year. The more frequent the detail, the less intensive (and less expensive) the next one will be. Experience the difference a thorough interior cleaning can create. From an express interior cleaning to a deep steam clean that sanitizes and kills 99% of germs, we can create packages to suit the needs of every customer.
All About You
At Pro Touch we understand that, ultimately, it is your world, your money and your car. On arrival to your scheduled detail appointment, we spend the initial first few minutes looking over and discussing any specific concerns you may have to assess your needs, priorities, and budget. Because every customer and car is different, every detail we perform is personalized. We perform with the goal of developing long-term relationships and over-delivering results to ensure you are satisfied and will continue to rely on Pro Touch for all of your detailing needs.
The Low Down
Many customers don't fully realize the amount of time a thorough detailing can require. Often times, it comes as a surprise that 4-6 hours can be spent just on an interior alone! (Sometimes more in the worst of cases) If your vehicle interior is in bad shape, we recommend you schedule an advanced interior cleaning and schedule any exterior detailing on a separate date. This way, we can make the most of the time we have and deliver the best possible results.
Cross-contamination is the greatest enemy of any auto detailing job. The importance of using AND washing towels separately is often overlooked by consumers and professionals alike. Our microfiber towels are color coded and every color has a specific job. No exterior towel will ever touch an interior surface and vice versa. When re-using towels, we also divide and wash colors separately as a precaution to keep your interior fabrics and leathers as safe as possible.
Our base pricing is generally a reliable estimate of what you can expect for service. However, no two jobs are alike. Here are a few things to keep in mind when considering what an interior detail might cost.
Old cars - If your car is 5 years or older it will require additional attention and care -- both inside and out. This may likely require an advanced interior cleaning.
Pet hair - This can be especially difficult to remedy and largely depends on the type of fabric and the actual pet hair. A surcharge will be added to any interior detail where pet hair must be removed. Price will vary depending on amount of pet hair and level of job difficulty.
Hay removal - Hay is also very difficult to remove and can take hours to clean out in the worst cases. If your vehicle needs special attention because of leftover hay remnants your price will also vary.
Protein based stains - Milk, food, and other organic matter will incur a minimum additional $25 fee.
Cigarettes - Only an Advanced Interior Cleaning can get rid of cigarette smells and, even still, cigarette smoke can greatly increase the amount of time to properly clean and deodorize your cars interior. No single solution can completely remove the residual smell of cigarette smoke. Every visible surface must be steamed cleaned and or shampooed. Even surfaces you can't see (like air vents) must be air blasted to remove ash. Prices will vary depending on the severity.
Heavy duty headliner cleaning - As a rule, headliners and sun visors are spot cleaned. If your headliner is exceptionally dirty, additional cost may be required.
Excessive dirt - Excessive liquid spills and dirt will be duly noted and may require additional expense.
Convertible cars - If you own a convertible and drive with the top down, the same dirt and dust that collects on your exterior paint also collects and accumulates on the inside of your car. This creates a greater level of dirt that must be cleaned during the interior detailing process. Depending on the severity of your interior, additional costs may be incurred.
Low budget detailing - Amateurs and/or negligent detailers sometimes apply industrial strength dressing to the interior that accumulates dirt and dust over time. Extra effort will be required in order to clean the greasy, dirty build-up that is often the long-term result of a cheap detailing service (most commonly found at your local car wash).
