A true-liquid paint sealant is hand applied during the drying process for additional shine and gloss that provides 3-4 months of lasting protection. Door jambs are wiped clean. What Is "Claying"?
Claying is the process of removing bonded contaminants from the surface of your vehicle that can't be removed with washing alone. This is done using a "clay bar" - a malleable piece of clay-like material that is used in conjunction with lubrication to remove "stuck on" dirt that a regular wash will not remove. Sometimes referred to as industrial fallout, these contaminants often include brake dust, iron, and other ferrous metals that bond to your paint. Most bonded contaminants cannot be seen with the naked eye. Removing these contaminants will increase paint life and durability while enhancing overall shine and gloss. Claying also allows for better adhesion of waxes and sealants because these contaminants are no longer interfering with the protective bond. Claying will give your vehicle a slick, smooth surface.

ZERO Cross-Contamination
Cross-contamination is the greatest enemy of any auto detailing job. Using the same wash mitt on your hood as you did on your wheels, for example, is a huge mistake that you'll immediately regret once you see the havoc it can wreak on your paint. The importance of using AND washing towels separately is often overlooked by consumers and professionals alike. Our microfiber towels are color coded and every color has a specific job. No exterior towel will ever touch an interior surface and vice versa. When re-using towels, we also divide and wash the colors separately as a precaution.

How Often Should I "Clay"?
Generally, claybar treatment is required anytime you can feel contaminants on the surface of your paint. How often depends on several factors, including frequency of use and storage (or lack thereof). After a good wash, simply run your fingers across a lower panel. If it feels rough or gritty, it's time to clay. Claying is an aggressive form of cleaning and should only be done when and where necessary to assure your wax or sealant adheres to your paint for lasting protection. Wax will not bond as effectively to a paint surface that requires claying.

Proper Wheel Care
Our process begins with a thorough cleaning of your wheels, tires, and wheel wells. "Road film" is a term professionals use to describe the toxic cocktail of contaminates that transfer from the road onto your vehicle's paint and wheels. This includes motor oil, grease, gasoline, transmission fluid, brake fluid, industrial fallout and more. The mixture of dirt, road film and brake dust can be a devastating combination, no matter how great the quality of the wheel. Proper wheel care and maintenance will help to ensure longevity and beauty.

Exterior Detailing + Protection
Protecting your paint can save you hundreds or even thousands over the lifetime of your vehicle. Our waxes contain polymers and UV fighting solutions to help safe-guard your paint from UV rays, heat, moisture, oxidation, and environmental contamination. Waxing also acts like make-up for your paint because it helps temporarily cover light scratches and swirls, greatly enhancing the overall appearance of your vehicle.

**Wash methods will be chosen at your detailers discretion. Not all situations and/or vehicles call for strip washes and/or foam baths. These may be excluded from your service should your detailer find an alternative technique to be more suitable for your particular situation
